Higher Performance and Lower Consumption

The Turbofarmer range are powered with the following engines:

• 100kW/136HP 3.6 litres at 2300 rpm, torque 500 Nm at 1600 rpm (DEUTZ ENGINE)
• 90 kW/122HP 3.6 litres at 2300 rpm, torque 480 Nm at 1600 rpm (DEUTZ ENGINE)
• 75 kW/100hp 3.8 litres at 2400 rpm (KUBOTA ENGINE)

Transmissions for Improved Precision & Safety

Merlo versions with Deutz CRDi engines are equipped with EPD (Eco Power Drive) providing electronic control of the combustion engine, thereby helping to reduce consumption by 18% for effective annual savings. Engine speed reduces to maintain 40kph.

Speed Control

As standard on the CS and 140 HP models (an option on other models), there is the EPD Plus version that adds the "speed control" mode that allows the speed of the machine's movement speed to be memorised and to keep it constant (ideal for yard handling operations) and the ECO mode that limits the motor rpm, thereby obtaining further savings. 

Automated Diesel Revs Control

All models with an electronic joystick (standard on CS) have the EPD Top System, which adds to the EPD Plus version the automated control of the diesel revs according to the movements of the telescopic boom, optimising the performance of the machine and keeping fuel consumption to a minimum.

Fan Drive System

The Turbofarmers are equipped with the "fan drive" system that allows you to change the rotation direction of the fan, from suction to blowing.
